Make artificial intelligence useful.
Keep it responsible.

Turn interest in artificial intelligence (AI) into a practical plan for your business, people and data.

  • AI readiness assessment
  • Microsoft Copilot readiness and security
  • Rules for approved tools and employee use

What does AI advisory include?

AI advisory helps your leadership team decide where AI can save time or improve service, and what has to be in place before staff rely on it. Chrysalis assesses your workflows, data and readiness, prepares Microsoft 365 for Copilot, sets governance rules for approved tools and data, and turns the findings into a prioritized roadmap with owners and next steps. Advisory starts with your goals, not with a product to sell.

Who this is for

AI advisory fits leadership teams in one of these positions.

Teams already using AI informally

Staff are pasting work into free chat tools and nobody has said what is allowed. You need rules before client or company data ends up somewhere it should not.

Microsoft 365 businesses weighing Copilot

You want to know whether Copilot is worth the license, which roles would benefit and what needs tidying up first.

Leaders asked for an AI plan

Owners, boards or clients are asking what you are doing with AI. You want a plan grounded in real work, not a pilot that fades out.

Firms with sensitive data

Professional services, healthcare and financial firms need to know where AI tools keep data and who can see the results.

Where AI adoption goes wrong

AI can help teams work faster, serve customers better and make smarter decisions, but only when it is tied to business goals, real data and your security standards.

Sensitive data in public tools

Without a policy, employees use whatever tool is open in their browser. Client details, contracts and financials can end up in services your business never approved.

Copilot that sees too much

Microsoft 365 Copilot can draw on any file, email or chat a user already has access to. If SharePoint and OneDrive permissions are loose, people may find information they were never meant to see.

Pilots without a business case

Licenses get bought, a few people try them and nothing changes, because no one picked the workflows, the owners or how success would be measured.

AI governance and security

Create practical guardrails for data privacy, approved tools, employee use and risk management.

Workflow automation strategy

Identify repetitive work that can be improved with AI assistants, automation and better integrations, then rank each idea by value, effort and risk.

Frequently asked questions

What leadership teams ask before they start.

Do we need to know which AI tools to buy?

No. Advisory starts with your goals, workflows, data and security requirements. Tool selection follows the business need and the opportunities identified.

What is Copilot readiness?

Copilot readiness means getting Microsoft 365 into shape before you switch Copilot on: licenses, permissions, sharing settings, tidy data and training. Copilot works with whatever each user can already open, so access needs to be right first.

Is Microsoft 365 Copilot secure?

Copilot runs inside Microsoft 365 and respects the permissions you already have. That is also why permissions matter: if access is too broad, Copilot makes overshared files easier to find. Chrysalis reviews access and sets governance before rollout.

What is the difference between free Copilot and Microsoft 365 Copilot?

Copilot Chat is available at no additional cost with eligible Microsoft 365 business subscriptions and gives users secure AI chat, with limited work-data reasoning depending on license and tenant settings. A Microsoft 365 Copilot license adds fuller work-data grounding across Microsoft 365 apps such as Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Teams. We help you decide who needs which option.

What should an AI policy cover?

At a minimum: which tools are approved, what data must never be entered, who reviews AI output before it reaches a client, and who to ask when unsure. We help you write one your staff will actually read.

Do you only advise, or help us implement?

Both. Advisory produces the plan, and Chrysalis can help put it in place with managed IT, cybersecurity and ongoing consulting.
